What is Perch?

Perch is a brain dump app for iPhone. Open it and talk — in any order, half-finished, all over the place. When you’re done, Perch shows you what’s there: recurring themes, what feels tangled, and a small place to start. You can also save typed thoughts, voice recordings, photos, screenshots, drawings and links. No folders, no tags. Then, quietly, Perch brings things back.

What’s free, and what’s in Perch Pro?

Perch is free to use. Free keeps every brain dump’s recording and transcript, lets you capture anything, brings yesterday’s dump back the next morning, and resurfaces saved notes over time. Your first brain dump includes a full analysis. Perch Pro analyzes every brain dump and adds automatic collections, connections between notes, weekly recaps, and video summaries.

Is there a free trial?

Perch Pro starts with a free trial for eligible new subscribers. The trial length and price are shown on the purchase screen before you confirm. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription.

What happens if I stop Pro?

Nothing you’ve saved is deleted. Pro features pause, Perch keeps working on the free plan, and everything Pro organized comes back if you subscribe again.

How do I subscribe, manage, or cancel?

Subscriptions are handled through your Apple ID. If you subscribe, it auto-renews at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. To manage or cancel, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access through the end of the period you’ve paid for.

Will I be charged automatically?

Perch Pro subscriptions, including ones that start with a free trial, renew automatically until you cancel. Apple processes all payments (with RevenueCat for subscription management); we don’t see or store your card details. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your notes are yours. Perch stores your data securely and does not sell your personal content. AI reads what you save only to analyze, organize and resurface it for you. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

How does resurfacing work?

Yesterday’s brain dump comes back the next morning, and saved notes resurface over time, one at a time — no counting, no badges, no backlog to clear. You can also pick a date to bring something back yourself. When something returns, keep it close or let it drift.

Can I use Perch offline?

Capturing a thought never waits on a connection — save anytime, and your notes sync when you’re back online.

How do I delete my account or my data?

Open Settings in the app. You can delete everything you’ve saved, or delete your account entirely. Deleting your account removes your data from our servers.
