Support & FAQ — Perch

Questions about Perch, your subscription, or your data? Start here. If you don’t find what you need, email perch.support@gmail.com and we’ll help you out.

What is Perch?

Perch is a place to catch any thought in a single tap — a note, a voice memo, a photo, a link. It files what you save on its own and quietly brings things back when they’re useful again. No folders, no tags, no organizing. It’s built for brains that move fast.

How does the free trial work?

Every account starts with a 7-day free trial with full access, beginning when you create your account. The trial requires no payment method and does not automatically convert to a paid subscription — there is nothing to cancel during it. When the trial ends, you choose whether to subscribe.

What happens when the trial ends?

When the 7 days are up, you decide whether to subscribe. If you don’t, paid features lock — but your account and everything you’ve saved stay right where they are.

How do I subscribe, manage, or cancel?

Subscriptions are handled through your Apple ID. If you subscribe, it auto-renews at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. To manage or cancel, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access through the end of the period you’ve paid for.

Will I be charged automatically?

Never during the trial — it doesn’t auto-charge. If you choose to subscribe, that subscription renews automatically until you cancel. Apple processes all payments (with RevenueCat for subscription management); we don’t see or store your card details. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your notes are yours. Perch stores your data securely and never sells it. AI reads your saved content only to enrich and resurface it for you, and any location data stays on your device. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

How does resurfacing work?

Things you save come back on their own when they’re relevant again — no counting, no badges, no backlog to clear. When something resurfaces, you can keep it close or let it drift away. That’s the whole point: save it, and trust it’ll return at the right time.

Can I use Perch offline?

Capturing a thought never waits on a connection — save anytime, and your notes sync when you’re back online.

How do I delete my account or my data?

Open Settings in the app. You can delete everything you’ve saved, or delete your account entirely. Deleting your account removes your data from our servers.
